Deepak Taneja

Founder, President and CEO of Aveksa
Deepak Taneja is the Founder, President and CEO of Aveksa, a security software startup. Prior to founding Aveksa, he was CTO and VP of Engineering at Netegrity. In this role, he was instrumental in growing the company into the market leader in Identity and Access Management. He has earlier successfully served organizations like Switchboard, Banyan Systems and Intel Corporation in various senior management roles.

Deepak is a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Jai N. Gupta

Founder, EER Systems
Dr. Gupta founded EER Systems, an 800 people strong company in the US, in 1979. EER Systems has played a very important role in supporting and implementing major programmes of NASA, the Department of Defence, and Federal Aviation Administration, such as: the Cosmic Background Explorer, the Broadband X-ray Telescope Experiment and the Gamma Ray Observatory. EER Systems has a brilliant record of achievements and amongst its recent successes is the award of a contract to provide the launch vehicle and services for the United Nations first orbital space launch and recovery system. Prior to EER Systems, Dr. Gupta worked at MITRE Corporation, where he gained valuable R & D experience. Dr. Gupta has published a large number of research papers and technical reports related to energy and aerospace technologies. He has served as a refree for several professional journals of repute. Dr. Gupta was the President of the International Society of Productivity enhancement for over a year.

Dr. Gupta received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, his Master's degree from Queen's University, Ontario, Canada, his Ph.D. from Purdue University, and his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.

P.K. Dubey
President & CEO of TelASI

PK has over 25 years of experience in senior management roles in the IC and Networking industries. He currently serves as President & CEO of TelASIC Communications, an analog, mixed-signal IC and radio sub-system company. Prior to TelASIC, he was a co-founder and President & CEO of  Force10 Networks, a company focused on highly scalable and resilient Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches and routers. Before that, he was President and CEO of MMC Networks, a company that created the "Network Processor" category for switching/routing infrastructure equipment. PK led it to the market-leadership position and took the company public in 1997. MMC was later acquired by Applied Micro Circuits Corporation for $4.5B. Prior to MMC, PK was the Vice President and General Manager of the DSP Division at AT&T Microelectronics (now Agere). During his tenure, Lucent’s DSP division had 17X profitable growth and became the industry’s recognized leader. PK earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA from The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.

Parveen Jain

Previously Executive Vice-President, Corporate Strategy of McAfee
Parveen Jain, until recently, was the executive vice president corporate strategy at McAfee, Inc. He was responsible for the company's overall strategy, corporate development, merger and acquisitions, corporate marketing, new business development, and strategic alliances.

Prior to McAfee, Jain was founder and chief executive officer of IntruVert Networks, which was acquired by McAfee in May of 2003. At IntruVert Networks, he guided the company through its venture funding rounds, product development efforts, company building stage, and successful customer engagements.

Prior to IntruVert, Jain held several senior management and executive positions, including president, chief executive officer and chairman of Computing Technologies International, which delivered software and services to power utilities. Jain has also served as vice president of application products at Expert-EASE Systems, managing the development of software targeting the aerospace industry. He also held senior product management positions at S. Levy Inc. and Systems Control Inc.

Jain is the author of over 50 business and professional papers. He has a doctorate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign master of science from the University of Cincinnati bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, India and a bachelor of science from Delhi University, India.

Jain serves on the boards of several startup companies and is affiliated with several charitable not-for-profit religious and social organizations. Currently, he serves as chairman of Jain Center of Northern California, a Director in Siddhachalam Board, an advisor to Southeast Asian Heart Center, and a founding advisor to India Community Center.

Rangu Salgame

President, India and SAARC Operations, Cisco Systems
Rangu has served as President of India and SAARC Operations at Cisco Systems since July 2003. Prior to joining Cisco, Rangu spent four years advising and managing venture capital backed companies. He was the President & CEO of Edgix, an Internet infrastructure company, with operations across North America, Latin America and Europe. Prior to Edgix, he was a senior executive in Verizon Communications, a Fortune 10 company and one of the world's leading providers of high-growth communications services. He was also the founder and President of Verizon's data solutions subsidiary, as well as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing for the company. In those capacities he served Verizon's medium and large enterprise customers including the global financial and media companies in New York. Before joining Verizon, Rangu was a Management Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand (now, PriceWaterhouseCoopers/IBM).

Rangu holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also has an MS in engineering from Virginia Tech and a BE from MS University of Baroda, India.

Vanu Bose

President and CEO, Vanu, Inc.
Dr. Vanu Bose is the principal inventor of the software radio technology that serves as the basis of Vanu, Inc.'s products. He completed his doctoral thesis on software radio in April 1999, and received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in June 1999. He received his Master's degree in EECS from M.I.T. in 1992 and two Bachelor's degrees, one in EECS and one in Math, from MIT in 1988. Vanu also consulted for the wireless communications industry and has professional experience in the design and development of online marketing and sales systems for consumer electronics products.
